I’m Ian Hickey, a software developer with a passion for the ever-evolving world of security.

My professional journey has been a unique blend of coding and education. As a software developer, I’ve delved deep into the intricacies of how technology can enhance learning experiences. I mostly dabble in security as a hobby. I am not a security professional, but I am a lifelong hacker. I’m an active member of HackerOne and similar bug bounty programs, I try to solve problems in new ways. I find that as a software developer by profession, I can often spot things overlooked by pentesters. I usually start by reading code versus scanning websites. Things like race-conditions and application flaws are probably where I find most of my bugs.
